Responsibilities

• Maintaining, troubleshooting and building windows systems
• Maintenance of anti-virus/end point protection
• Managing software licences
• Vendor management of IT hardware, Software and Licenses
• Troubleshooting desktop issues, primarily on Windows but also MacOS
• Helping users resolve IT problems.
• Adding/deleting new users
• Managing access control to internal and external resources

Qualifications

• Solid background in working with Windows environments, comfortable across Active Directory, Servers and Office365
• Background in solving networking problems within LAN, WAN and VoIP.
• Ability to anticipate load and hardware requirements.
• Ability to source computer hardware that meet the Company's requirements.
• Knowledge of firewall configuration
• Knowledge of DNS and DHCP
• Basic knowledge of Linux operating system and experience with virtualization platforms (VMWare)
• Ability to troubleshoot issues.
• Background of working within a help desk environment. (Min 2 years)
