Senior Project Manager Hydrology & Hydraulics- Houston, Texas
Our Client is seeking a Professional Engineer in the Hydrology & Hydraulics industry who desires to grow into a leadership position. This individual shall be responsible for coordinating with Engineering and drafting staff to deliver a quality product in a fast-paced environment. They should have the desire to be a project lead. Experience in leading H&H related tasks on Land Development and Transportation projects is desired.
Professional Engineer License- Required.
Responsibilities
- Performs engineering duties and Project Management for drainage modeling, planning, and design.
- Provides technical design and analysis of civil engineering projects from planning through completion.
- Designs and oversees various public drainage infrastructure projects.
- Estimates work load to establish completion dates and manages staff to deliver projects on schedule.
- Presents findings in a formal client and conference setting.
- Completes various civil engineering tasks, research, report preparation and technical specifications.
- Focuses on the details of a project while understanding the client’s big picture objective.
- Establishes and maintains client relations through regular and constructive communication with clientele and project team members.
- Leads or supports in the preparation of project proposals.
Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science with an emphasis in Civil Engineering.
- Professional Engineer License in Texas.
- Minimum of 5 years leading projects.
- Strong detail-oriented work style, excellent oral and written communication skills, and an accommodating and proactive attitude.
- Familiarity with analysis and design of drainage infrastructure.
- Strong project management and leadership skills and be expected to maintain client relationships and continued development of project work.
- Experience with AutoCAD software and proficient with MS Office.
- Experience with GIS, HEC-RAS, HEC-HMS, TxDOT drainage standards, XPSWMM/STORM, Innovyze, and AutoCAD.
- Experience with supervision and coordination of engineering and drafting work.
- Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously.
POSITION TYPE AND HOURS OF WORK
This is a full-time position. Days and hours of work are Monday through Thursday, 7:30 am to 5:30 pm, and Friday 8:00 am to 12:00 pm. This position requires working overtime as needed.

Occasional, non-routine travel may be required.
