    Our client is seeking a Director-CO2 Operations for a full time role.

    Compensation- Full benefits plus a base salary up to $185K. Relocation is available.

    This position is available in Kansas, Wyoming, and Nebraska.

    Primary purpose:

    Lead and scale a multi-discipline organization that supports Company’s O&M division. This position is expected to drive the vision and growth strategy for Company’s CO2 assets. This role is accountable for the safe, reliable, and cost-effective operation and maintenance of the CO2 pipeline systems, pump/compressor stations, metering, gathering systems and other related equipment.

    The CO2 systems will be comprised of CO2 operating in both gas and dense phases.

    • Work closely with Maintenance Strategies team to develop strategic plans to implement emerging technologies and trends in operations and maintenance management.
    • Drive proactive cross-functional alignment and collaboration internally with key stakeholders in Operations, Engineering, Commercial and Project Teams to optimize the delivery of services across all assets.
    • Plan and manage the organization including headcount requirements, recruitment strategies, and organizational development. Hire, retain and motivate the best and brightest employees.
    • Proven ability to influence across organizations without direct hierarchical ownership of teams.
    • Manage and coordinate delivery of professional services to foster meaningful client relationships internally and externally to the organization.
    • Development and implementation of measurement and reporting KPIs.
    • In accordance with the Company’s business plan, recruit, develop, mentor, organize, and manage a high-performance team. Lead the implementation of an inclusive recruiting and hiring process.
    • Implementation and administration of CMMS systems, specifically Maximo.
    • Coordination of the planning and scheduling of major maintenance activities to mitigate revenue loss and service interruptions.
    • Coordinate the development and application of emergency procedures. Actively participate and provide leadership in crisis management conditions.
    • Required to play an essential role in building strong, motivated, and service oriented teams.
    • Responsible for developing and maintaining professional relationships with both internal and external clients.
    • Accomplishment of performance goals in line with the company’s long-term and short-term objectives.
    • Demonstrate and enforce the highest professional integrity, ethics and safety discipline.

    Minimumrequirements:
    Education:

    • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in Business, Engineering, or a related discipline.
    • A minimum of ten (10) years direct work experience in crude oil and/or product movement industry may be considered as a substitute for a degree.

    Experience/Specific Knowledge:

    • Experience with operating and maintaining long haul CO2 pipelines in dense phase and gaseous phase.
    • A minimum of ten (10) years of diverse and progressive responsibility of pipeline/terminal O&M experience, including strong technical, operational and maintenance background.
    • A minimum of ten (10) years’ experience with direct people management.
    • Strong background in pipeline maintenance including pump station, compressor stations and mainline valves.
    • Familiar with PHMSA, EPA, OSHA and other applicable pipeline safety and environmental regulations.
    • Intermediate proficiency level in Maximo/CMMS, OSI PI and MS Office applications that may include but are not limited to Excel, Word, Access, PowerPoint and Outlook for the purposes of word processing, spreadsheet applications, and information retrieval.
    • Certifications, Licenses & Registrations:
    • Must possess and maintain a valid driver’s license and a driving record satisfactory to the company and its insurers (for travel).
