    Client is seeking a Production Engineering Tech for a full-time, permanent opportunity.

    Salary range is dependent on experience and may be around $85K; Benefits start on the 1st of the month;7% match on 401K.

    They have a company sponsored HSA plan where they currently contribute $5,000 (for family) to the HSA. Benefits go into effect on the 1st of the month. Employee’s pay the following:

    • Family Medical Coverage = $65/pay period
    • Dental = $7/pay period
    • Vision= $1 per pay period

    The company matches up to 7% on 401k.

    ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

    The following represents the majority of the duties performed by the position, but is not meant to be all-inclusive nor prevent other duties from being assigned when necessary. Employees are expected to comply with all regulatory, environmental and safety rules and standards, as well as corporate policies.

    Company does not offer relocation on this role.

    Must have Spotfire experience.

    • Assists engineering professionals with acquisition and preparation of hard copy or digital data.
    • Gathers technical data for manipulation and analysis projects.
    • Creates various models and works with Petro professionals to provide meaningful analysis.
    • Assists engineering professionals with various research and analytical projects.
    • Depending on dedicated discipline, (production, reservoir, drilling) monitors production and drilling performance, AFE’s and LOE evaluations.

    SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

    • A minimum of 2 years of relevant experience associated with upstream Oil & Gas Operations is a plus.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite required (Outlook, Word, Excel & PowerPoint).
    • Working knowledge of oil and gas software (Aries, SQL, Oracle, P2, SCADA, Spotfire, GIS, etc.).
    • Experience in working with large data sets and database QC and maintenance.

    Education Requirements

    Education Level: Minimum - 2 Year / Associate’s Degree, Combination of Industry experience and education may substitute as equivalent for degree

    Preferred Education: 4 Year / Bachelor’s Degree - Technical or 4-year college degree highly preferred.
