    Job Description

    Villa Healthcare - MN is currently interviewing for our open Healthcare Recruiter spot. This position will be supporting the recruitment efforts and strategy for 11 skilled nursing facilities in our Twin Cities market.

     

    This Healthcare Recruiter is a key member of the human resources/recruiter function, and is committed to offering a better employee experience to all, starting from the first point of contact. Significant areas of attention will include working with a region level team on filling open positions as necessary, and following the candidate through the onboarding process. The ideal Healthcare Recruiter will be sales oriented, high energy, and optimistic, with the ability connect with all types of people and find ideal candidates to move the culture of the organization forward.

     

    THE RECRUITER WILL HANDLE A VARIETY OF DUTIES INCLUDING:

    • Source and screen applicants for open positions within a region, ensuring that candidates meet the needs of the center for both qualifications and culture
    • Build a strong candidate pipeline for current and future roles within the organization
    • Use various recruitment techniques, bringing new ideas to the table consistently to stay ahead of recruitment trends within the industry
    • Cold call consistently to fill open positions and build pipeline bench strength
    • Designated positions: Including but not limited to Front Line Staff (Nursing, Dietary, Housekeeping (where applicable)), Nursing (LPN & RN), and center level Directors (excluding Administrators & Directors of Nursing candidates)
    • Ability to effectively communicate and report out, and up to Executive Leadership when necessary
    • Performing phone interviews and in person interviews with candidates
    • Serve as the main quarterback for full cycle recruitment, onboarding, and retention process. To include:
    • Coordinating interview process with the hiring managers
    • Be the main point of contact for candidates from application through retention
    • Through a strong working partnership with the Human Resources team, take candidates through the recruiting and onboarding process, keeping relationship strong resulting in retention
    • Serve as a liaison with area employment agencies, colleges, and industry associations
    • Attend local job fairs and state conferences representing the Villa family
    • Partner and serve as the liaison with colleges, workforce development centers, and other local resources by visiting them at a minimum monthly
    • Multitask and manage time effectively to fill multiple open positions at a time
    • Completing timely reports on recruitment metrics, pipeline, open positions, and overall recruitment activities.
    • This position partners closely with the senior recruiters and reports to the Director of Recruiting Services

    • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel
    • Time management skills: excellent ability to track and meet deadlines
    • Interpersonal skills: capability to work in a team environment, meeting and collaborating with a variety of departments and team members

    THE RIGHT CANDIDATE WILL HAVE THE FOLLOWING QUALIFICATIONS:

    EDUCATION: Bachelor’s degree or 3 + years experience as a recruiter

    EXPERIENCE: 3+ years of experience as a recruiter with a track record of building and implementing new programs & processes. Healthcare experience preferred.

    Creative approach to recruiting

    • Must be able to meet deadlines under stressful conditions and able to multitask
    • Have a willingness to work fluctuating and flexible hours to include evenings and weekends.
    • Must be able to communicate timely and effectively with corporate and field management
    • Ability to commute within region as necessary
