WE ARE HOUSTON’S ONLY RETAILER WITH A SHOWROOM OF HARD TO FIND FURNITURE DECOR. WE STOCK ANTIQUE REPLICAS AS WELL AS DISPLAY QUALITY, GENUINE ANTIQUE FURNITURE. OUR NEW TEAM HIRE MUST VALUE CUSTOMERS FOR LIFE AS OUR BUSINESS IS BUILT ON

REQUIREMENTS:

• DRIVE Sales
• LEAD the development of new clients
• Convert walk-in traffic to clients and raving, passionate Village Antiques fans, creating desire and excitement around our products and brands
• LOVE closing the deal
• Know how to farm clients for long sales cycles
• Provide an amazing customer service experience by greeting, listening and assisting customers with their needs
• Provide warm, prompt, professional, courteous service
• Be consistently building genuine relationships with thoughtful, and consistent outreach
• Always have a can-do attitude
• Attract, recruit and bring in superb, quality suppliers to add to our team of antique suppliers on a consistent daily basis

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

SALES

• Meet and exceed sales goals.
• Have the ability to write minimum $40,000+ per month in sales
• Be able to follow up on sales leads through to the close of the sale
• Drives high sales through excitement and passion for merchandise and outstanding customer service.
• Have previous retail sales experience and/or retail manager experience
• Strong clienteling and customer follow-up skills
• Enter leads in CRM and ability to follow up

CUSTOMER FOCUS:

• Maintains a strong and genuine customer focus on the sales floor at all times.
• Monitors and adheres to all safety regulations and policies as directed by the company.
• Partners with the store team to maintain company standards of a neat, clean, and organized store.
• Maintain a professional appearance and follow uniform policy that represents the Village Antiques brand.
• Builds customer loyalty through company sponsored programs.

REQUIREMENTS TO APPLY

• At least 2+ years retail management experience, this is a strict requirement
• Energetic, results oriented and competitive with a drive to succeed
• Strong interpersonal and conflict resolution skills
• Stable and progressive work history; Strong work ethic
• High School Diploma, or equivalent
• Bilingual preferred
• Must be proficient on the computer

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

• Must be available to work eight hour shifts and an average of 40 hours per week: including day shifts, weekends, and holidays.
• Ability to lift 50 pounds on a regular basis.
• Ability to stand for long periods of time; climb up and down a ladder.
• Constant walking and standing; frequent bending, stooping and reaching.
• Ability to package and process shipments daily.
