POSITION SUMMARY:

The purpose of this position is to assist with the youth and adult sports leagues, clinics and programs. The Sports Associate will also assist the Sports Coordinator with events like indoor triathlons, free throw competitions and family pentathlon. This position will be provided with supervision by the Sports Coordinator.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Strong background in sports and athletes.

Experience playing and/or coaching at a competitive level.

Comprehensive detailed knowledge of assigned sport, including game rules and regulations, technical skills and strategic skills.

Must have proficient student management skills.

Designing sports skill development curriculums and lesson plans.

Teaching assigned sports program in a similar environment.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Ability to work with minimal supervision and be highly organized

Must be computer literate, and experienced in MS office products

4 year degree or equivalent preferred

First Aid/CPR certification required within 90 days of hire date
