POSITION SUMMARY:

Responsibilities include giving leadership, direction, and supervision to children in a full-day sports camp setting for ages 5-12 years. Employee will be Leading the group in organized activities and focusing on the safety, enjoyment, and positive relationships of each child. Familiarity in Basketball, Soccer, and/or Flag Football preferred.

IMPORTANT DATES:

Camp starts on June 3rd and runs through July 12th.

Training starts the week prior.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Strong background in sports and athletes.

Experience playing and/or teaching assigned sports program in a similar environment.

Position requires both adult and pediatric First Aid/CPR Certification

High School Diploma Preferred.

Experience supervising children.

Ability to visually observe children and to physically intervene when the safety of a child could be compromised.

Ability to physically move with children through a wide variety of indoor and outdoor program settings and activities.
