POSITION SUMMARY:

Employee will be assigned to parties as needed and be a point of contact during the event for all in attendance as well as help with setup and take down of food and decorations. Employee will assist in running programmed activities during the course of a party.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Experience in events and children’s birthday parties

High School Diploma Preferred.

Minimum age of 18.

Experience supervising children.

Ability to physically move with children through a wide variety of indoor and outdoor program settings and activities.

Physically able to lift and carry at least 40lbs.

Must possess a cooperative attitude committed to character development by promoting and demonstrating a caring and responsible attitude towards VillaSport members, party participants and the general public.

Skill in organizing and executing age appropriate activities for children.

Desire to work with children.

Ability to follow party plan as provided by the Event Coordinator.

Implement party theme and coordinate with other VillaSport departments and outside vendors.

Greet parents and children and communicate policies and guidelines.

Ability to coordinate and implement programs.

Supervise and participate with children during all group activities.

Demonstrate proper care and storage of equipment and supplies.

Communicate effectively and exhibit a professional attitude with all other staff, parents, and children.

Ability to work a varied schedule.

Provide a program summary and photos at the end of each party.

Possess basic computer skills.
