    POSITION SUMMARY:

    The VillaSport Manager-in-Training Program offers participants a unique opportunity to gain cross-club and cross-department management and leadership experience in preparation for taking on a management role in a club. Managers-in-Training (MITs) will learn (through mentoring, live and virtual training, special assignments and projects, and on-the-job practice and experience) all facets of club operations, including:

    Membership sales and marketing

    Fitness, group exercise, aquatics, events and sports operations

    Childcare operations

    Food and beverage operations

    Day spa operations

    Facility housekeeping and maintenance

    Member services

    Human resources

    General and financial management

    MITs will have a home base club but will also be deployed to a variety of clubs in CA, CO, OR, and TX, and in a variety of positions to gain valuable experience and to cover for management vacancies until replacements are hired and trained. Demonstrated success in the program will lead to a promotion to an AGM or GM position in a VillaSport property (as openings become available).

    QUALIFICATIONS:

    Willing and able to travel to any VillaSport location at any time for any length of time as required by business needs.

    Willing and able to accept an AGM or GM position that is offered, regardless of location.

    Five-star customer service and problem-solving skills.

    Excellent communication skills.

    Demonstrates strong leadership aptitude.

    Viewed by VillaSport OGM/VP team as high-performing and high-potential.

    Experience working for VillaSport or other high-end, high-touch, service-oriented business is a plus.

    Experience leading a team and being a part of a high-performing team.

    Experience working in a fast-paced, multi-faceted, customer-facing position.
