POSITION SUMMARY:
The purpose of this position is to instruct youth and adults in specific individual sports and drive training sales. Training may be private, semi-private, small group or large group. This position reports directly to the Sports Director.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Strong background in sports and athletes.
Experience playing and/or coaching at a competitive level.
Comprehensive detailed knowledge of assigned sport, including game rules and regulations, technical skills and strategic skills.
Must have proficient student management skills.
Designing sports skill development curriculums and lesson plans.
Teaching assigned sports program in a similar environment.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work with minimal supervision and be highly organized
Must be computer literate, and experienced in MS office products
Excellent customer service skills, energetic, enthusiastic and motivational
Excellent physical condition
4 year degree or equivalent preferred
Current C.P.R. and First AidFirst Aid/CPR certifications required prior to hire date
