POSITION SUMMARY:

The Accounting Associate will be responsible for various accounting functions at the club, including but not limited to banking activities, invoice tracking and club audits. This position will also assist with miscellaneous tasks such as office supply orders, club uniform inventories and filing. The Accounting Associate reports to the Office of the GM but will work closely with home office support departments to ensure policies and procedures are executed and enforced in line with company expectations. In decisions and actions, the Accounting Associate is guided by VillaSport’s WE SERVE principles.

This is a part-time, hourly position offered at 20 hours per week.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Proficient in Word and Excel; able to learn new software system quickly.

Understanding of debits/credits, general ledgers, budgets.

At least one year in an accounting position preferred.

Experience with a high-end athletic club or hospitality company preferred.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Excellent proofreading skills.

Able to focus on a task or assignment through completion.

Able to check own work for accuracy.

Honest and ethical.

Detail-oriented.

College Degree preferred.
