POSITION SUMMARY:

This position works closely with the Sports Coordinator in developing, coordinating, and managing the Competitive Basketball Team in a safe and responsible manner. This person will be provided with general supervision by the Sports Coordinator and will need to be organized, self-motivated, resourceful, and able to successfully manage the programs with minimal direct supervision. Other duties may be assigned as needed.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Familiarity with sports industry

Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel

Competitive basketball background

Minimum of 2 years coaching experience

Experience developing practice plans

Minimum of 1 year in management or supervisory sports role.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Ability to work with minimal supervision

First Aid/CPR certification required

Minimum two years of college education required
