    POSITION SUMMARY:

    The origin of the word “concierge” is “to serve”. This position provides gracious, knowledgeable and anticipatory service to club members at two locations in the club: the Concierge station at the Member Services Desk and at the Fitness Advice Center. Both Concierge stations serve as “information hubs” where members know they can go to get accurate information about any topic. The focus of the MS station is member account assistance and the focus of the FAC station is program promotion and registration, but both stations can handle all topics. Concierge Associates are a valuable resource to members, providing a one-stop solution for questions about membership accounts, billing, club programs and services, club policies, hours of operation, and so forth and for any issues or concerns that need to be addressed. Concierge Associates embody the WE SERVE spirit and are empowered to build strong relationships and create exceptional experiences for members and guests.

    QUALIFICATIONS:

    Member Services staff consistently exhibit exceptional member service and ability to utilize current procedures.

    Excellent phone skills; ability to handle intermittent heavy phone calls.

    Efficient, well-organized, able to handle a variety of duties simultaneously.

    Strong background in problem solving, selling and quality service skills.

    Previous customer service experience.

    Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate in a friendly, professional manner under pressure.

    Ability to work in a multi-faceted organization.

    Professional image through dress, posture and poise.

    Assertive with outgoing personality.

    Ability to take initiative in numerous member responsibilities.

    High School Diploma or equivalent skills gained through experience.
