    We are looking for an experienced hospitality professional to join our rapidly growing team as a Logistics & Dispatch Specialist! The Dispatch department is the foundation for successful operations each day, so this is a hands-on, cross-functional position working directly with all departments. Responsibilities: The Logistics and Dispatch Specialist is responsible for managing and dispatching maintenance, engineering, housekeeping, inspection, and arcade work orders across the company’s portfolio in the Greater Orlando area. The ideal candidate is experienced in dispatch and/or room control, comfortable managing vendors and solving scheduling challenges, and works well under daily deadlines. • Lead all daily communication between technicians, inspectors, vendors, guests, and BOH departments. Directly responsible for dispatching and vendor management. • Use and maintain the Property Management System (PMS) to receive and dispatch all daily/day-of work orders, while managing outstanding tickets, long-term project scheduling, and vendor coordination to complete tasks. • Accurately maintain exceptionally detailed notes, images, and videos of work order status within the PMS, managing every ticket for accuracy and timely completion. • Proactively address problems and suggest solutions to ensure timely processing and issue resolution; Assess situations to prioritize calls and work orders efficiently and effectively. • Effectively manage large scope of work orders that involve several vendors and break down work orders into supporting work orders. • Create, own, and implement the process of auditing work orders, adding information, costing tickets, closing tasks, and obtaining operations approvals. • Regularly communicate with the field team to ensure accurate ticket execution, appropriate time for labor, and cost of parts within each work order • Oversee the route of field technicians and track delivery status of products ordered by the Purchasing department. Coordinate route schedules effectively, managing labor availability and skill specialty. • Exceptional project management, organizational, and writing skills. • Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and organize work to meet deadlines and multiple requests, work effectively under pressure and under tight timelines. • Passion to learn and willingness to work smarter, not harder. • Personable. Respectful, pleasant to be around, and enjoy engaging with others. • Levelheaded. Able to keep cool during maintenance emergencies and quickly find solutions. Qualifications: • 3+ years experience as a Dispatcher, Rooms Controller, or similar position in the hospitality industry is required. • 2+ years experience working in call center, front desk setting, or guest services department is preferred. • Experience working with property management software. • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, knowledge of task management software is a plus! • Have a flexible schedule, able to work weekends and evenings as needed. • Excellent work ethic, communication skills, time management skills, and attention to detail • Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds at times. • Conversational Spanish is a must! • May be required to travel to various company locations and/or vendor offices through Greater Orlando/Central Florida as needed. • Have a valid driver’s license. • Position is an on-site position. Compensation: $18 - $20 hourly
