Responsibilities: • Provide the day-to-day maintenance, security, and engineering inspections to our inventory of villas, handling all routine engineering and maintenance tasks directly and coordinating vendors where needed • Inspect the building for any structural damage to windows, doors, and walls and perform necessary repairs • Ensure all equipment and systems such as HVAC units, plumbing fixtures, and electrical wiring are in working order by conducting routine maintenance and performing repairs, as needed • Develop and execute preventative maintenance measures to keep our equipment operating efficiently and prevent any safety risks • Documents all work via our work order/ticket system, to record the details of completed repairs and service orders for equipment with photographs • Work with dispatch to ensure any/all outstanding items from the day prior are addressed prior to assisting with the current day’s tickets • Perform auxiliary tasks in support of the housekeeping and inspection teams as needed. • Ensures proper use of inventory and supplies, making notes to supervisor/manager when supplies are low and/or missing • Reports any missing or damaged items in homes immediately, following established processes. • Liaise with the ops team, and vendors in a professional, respectful manner • Communicate any guest issues and feedback to the management team to ensure appropriate actions are taken • Complies with and ensures compliance with security procedures • Works extra shifts and hours as required • Assists in other departments as needed • Inspect the building for any structural damage to windows, doors, and walls, and perform necessary repairs • Handles additional maintenance tasks as needed • Performs routine maintenance on equipment and systems such as plumbing fixtures, HVAC units, and electrical wiring to ensure optimal performance and make any repairs • Plans and implements preventative maintenance procedures to maximize equipment operations and minimize safety risks • Makes a record of when any equipment was serviced and repairs were made Qualifications: • 2+ years’ experience in maintenance and/or engineering; Technician certifications are a plus! • High school diploma/GED or equivalent • Have a flexible schedule, able to work weekends and cover overnight on-call shifts as needed • Excellent work ethic, communication skills, time management skills, and attention to detail • Previous experience working with work-order software is a plus • Must be able to climb steps, bend, crouch, walk and stand for long periods of time, kneel, etc. • Have a valid driver’s license • High school diploma/GED or equivalent • Flexible availability for on-call maintenance requests on nights and weekends • Superb attention to detail, work ethic, and communication skills • Advanced understanding of maintenance equipment, procedures, and techniques Compensation: $20 - $22 hourly
