    We are seeking a highly-motivated, creative, and knowledgeable Development Operations Engineer to help us build a highly-scalable computational drug discovery platform.

    RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Collaborate , communicate , and support the computational scientists at Vilya to help build a world class computational macrocycle drug discovery pipeline.
    • Design , optimize , and maintain our cloud computing infrastructure to ensure its reliability, scalability, and security.
    • Implement automated test suites and continuous integration pipelines with the goal of hardening our code base.
    • Participate in the development and enhancement of our software platform to ensure that our codebase is reliable, efficient, and scalable.

    QUALIFICATIONS:

    • B.Sc. (or equivalent industry experience) in computer science
    • Proficiency in Linux system administration; Expertise working within Linux environments
    • Experience managing infrastructure deployed in GCE
    • Working knowledge of python-based data structures (e.g. Numpy, pytorch, pandas, etc.)
    • Experience managing SLURM or related cloud-based batch computing systems
    • Ability to effectively communicate with a team of diverse backgrounds
