We are seeking a Technician II, Compound Logistics Specialist to organize and maintain all aspects of our chemical building block inventory, including material sourcing, ordering, receiving, and registration to an electronic database.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Provide day-to-day operational support of all building block order management and logistics activities, including managing the shipment of materials to and from vendors and CROs
• Work with the Chemistry team to ensure new building block materials are identified and ordered
• Work with the Analytical Chemistry team on internal building block QC efforts
• Work with the Compound Management team to ensure existing low-quantity building blocks are reordered and restocked promptly, and to prepare building block stock solutions for High-Throughput Synthesis and Discovery Chemistry efforts
• Strong time management skills, knows how to be efficient, prioritize objectives, and communicate inventory status to a broad team on-demand
• Effective communication and collaboration with all members of the Vilya team
• Excellent troubleshooting skills and perceptive problem solving capabilities

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• BS in Chemistry, Biological Sciences, Engineering or related field, with 2 or more years of experience in compound management
• Experienced in chemical ordering platforms (Enamine, eMolecules, etc)
• Working proficiency with online laboratory inventory management systems

• Salary Range : $60,000 - $90,000 (depending on experience)
