Purpose of the Job:

The Vineyard Technician is involved in the daily operations of the Vineyard. Job tasks include, but are not limited to, Mowing, weed spraying, tractor use, suckering, and wire movements. Deliver high-quality grapes for the winery.

Essential Job Functions:

Be willing to work in any weather conditions; this is primarily an outdoor job all year round.

Maintain equipment as needed

Perform all duties with the highest standard of quality and cleanliness.

Qualifications:

The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. Education/Experience: Any previous vineyard experience is preferred

An associate's degree in Viticulture or a related field is ideal

The desire to produce quality grapes for wine production

Wine knowledge is helpful but not required

Basic mathematical and computer literacy

Work Schedule:

This position will require days, nights, weekends, and flexibility to work at our other locations. Longer hours are required during the Harvest period.
