    A little bit about the company and the projects:

    Vineyard Offshore brings industry-leading experience to the emerging US-based offshore wind market. Owned by Copenhagen Infrastructure Partners (CIP), half of the joint venture behind the Vineyard Wind 1 project, Vineyard Offshore is focused on developing projects that will deliver clean, renewable, and cost-effective offshore wind power around North America. In addition to Vineyard Wind 1, Vineyard Offshore currently holds two additional US lease areas that together can generate at least 3.5 gigawatts of offshore wind energy to power a minimum of two million homes along the mid-Atlantic and northeastern seaboards.

    What you’ll do:

    In this role, you will work for Vineyard Wind Services (VWS), a company wholly owned by funds managed by Copenhagen Infrastructure Partners (CIP). VWS is a service provider for CIP’s US Offshore Wind Projects that currently employs around 45 individuals and is growing quickly The Finance Manager will work closely with the rest of CIP’s finance departments and as well with the CIP Offshore Wind Project teams in the US.

    You will be responsible for all financial and financial compliance-related matters applicable to VWS and the CIP US Offshore Wind projects, including, but not limited to the offshore wind lease area OCS-A 0522. You should expect a very versatile job where most days will be different.

    Primary job duties include the following:

    • manage the services providers responsible for day-to-day accounting and routine accounting processes, including accounts payable, general ledger bookkeeping, and accounting closes
    • manage external service providers including accounting and tax
    • track reporting requirements for tax (federal, state, and local)
    • manage consultancy agreements and invoicing
    • support project budget follow-ups and reporting
    • forecast cash flow
    • prepare and track funding requests to shareholder
    • coordinate and work with banks on credit cards, bank account setup, and funding requests
    • obtain and maintain letters of credit, bonds, and guarantees for the projects
    • oversee and coordinate with additional financial and budget management team members.

    What you’ll bring:

    The Finance Manager is a mid- to senior-level position that will report to the CEO of the US Offshore Wind Portfolio.

    • ability to work independently and as part of a team
    • possess strong organizational skills and analytical skills, and have a track record of successful process improvement
    • minimum of 7 years of relevant experience in a private or public accounting firm
    • experience in Renewable Energy is preferred
