    We are Vintures, a wine distribution & import company without compromise! We champion those harder to find exceptional wineries, with impeccable standards, and practices. Texas is growing! Always focused on estate and family-owned wineries with sustainable viticulture and wine making practices. Vintures hand selects wineries from all over the world with more than 120 producers and around 400 wines in our book. The book is expanding quite rapidly and are seeking wine lovers who want to grow with us!

    Our portfolio is focused on sustainability, organic & biodynamic wines. We only take on whom we feel are exceptional for their region, place and price segment.

    We are seeking highly motivated wine professionals in Texas to join our dynamic growing company full time covering territories in Dallas, Houston & San Antonio as our sales representatives for on & off-premise sales. The ideal sales team members should be able to achieve growth within an assigned territory by effectively selling our products while making sure our customers receive excellent service.

    Our current business in Texas includes serving all 10 Central Markets, close to 100 HEB's, several independent retailers, hundreds of top restaurants, wine bars & private clubs. We deliver daily in Houston, twice weekly to Dallas/Fort Worth, weekly to Austin/San Antonio and monthly to The Valley & West Texas.

    Job description:

    • Take over current routes covering on and off premise accounts

    • Expand our portfolio within existing customers

    • Achieve sales growth by opening new on-premise account placements

    • Analyze the assigned territory and create daily and weekly call patterns and target accounts.

    • Work with our customers on staff training, wine dinners and other events

    Required skills and attributes:

    • Wine knowledge, passion, and previous experience within the wine industry, preferably with an off or on-premises sales route

    • A strong passion for wine and customer service.

    • Goal oriented, focused, motivated, and assertive individual who needs little direction or supervision.

    • Must own and be able to maintain a vehicle in good working condition. Vehicle must have all tags, and personal liability insurance. Must hold a valid driver’s license.

    • Must have excellent verbal communications skills to effectively communicate with customers. Ability to cold call with confidence.

    • Strong work ethic and entrepreneurial spirit

    • May require occasional lifting/lowering, pushing, carrying, or pulling up to 45lbs.

    • Working knowledge and proficiency in computer skills.

    • Compensation will be determined based on experience and documented results.

    Job Types: Full-time, Contract

    Salary: $50,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
