Job Description
A vinyl associate for signage is responsible for preparing, applying, and potentially installing vinyl graphics
on various substrates for signage purposes. This role requires attention to detail, proficiency with tools,
and the ability to follow specifications to ensure high-quality signage products.
Key Responsibilities:
Vinyl Preparation and Application:
• Apply vinyl to various surfaces
• Inspect and clean surface
• Read work order for correct material before applying vinyl
• Must be able to use X-Acto knifes for weeding and cutting
• Must be able to read a tape measure
• Able to use a Rolls Roller
Quality Control:
Inspecting jobs for accuracy, ensuring proper alignment and application, and conducting preand
post-production quality checks.
Material Handling:
Loading and unloading materials, operating Rolls Reier, laminators, and vinyl cutters.
Following Instructions:
Interpreting work orders, following layouts, and adhering to design standards.
Attention to Detail:
Critical for ensuring accurate cuts, proper application, and high-quality finished products.
Skills and Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent
Experience in manufacturing
Ability to read and interpret drawings
Good communication skills and ability to collaborate with team members
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Education, Experience:
• Must be 18 years of age
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• 2 years' experience in the sign industry is a plus
