The Vinyl Vehicle Wrap Installer is responsible for preparing, installing, and finishing high‑quality vinyl graphics and full/partial vehicle wraps on a wide range of vehicles and surfaces. This role requires excellent attention to detail, strong craftsmanship, and the ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team. The ideal candidate has hands‑on experience with vinyl application, surface preparation, and installation tools and techniques. Responsibilities: Vehicle Wrap Installation • Install full and partial vinyl vehicle wraps, decals, and graphics on cars, trucks, vans, trailers, and specialty vehicles. • Ensure precise alignment, trimming, stretching, and finishing of vinyl to meet quality standards. • Remove existing graphics, wraps, and adhesive as needed. • Inspect completed installations for bubbles, wrinkles, or defects and make corrections as needed. Surface Preparation & Finishing • Clean, prep, and degrease vehicle surfaces before installation. • Perform post‑heating, edge sealing, and finishing work to ensure long-lasting adhesion. • Maintain accuracy when cutting vinyl on the vehicle or using plotters/knives/tools. Quality Control & Documentation • Review work orders, drawings, and production files to ensure correct materials and installation methods. • Accurately report job status, materials used, and any issues encountered. • Uphold company quality standards and brand guidelines. Team Collaboration • Work closely with designers, production staff, and other installers to complete projects efficiently. • Assist in training junior installers or supporting team members when needed. • Maintain communication with supervisors about project timelines and challenges. Tools & Equipment • Operate and maintain installation tools such as squeegees, heat guns, knives, and application rollers. • Follow safe handling procedures for ladders, lifts, and shop equipment. Qualifications: Required • 1–3 years of hands‑on experience installing vinyl vehicle wraps and graphics. • Strong knowledge of vinyl materials such as 3M, Avery Dennison, Oracal, etc. • Proficiency in wrap techniques including stretching, trimming, post‑heating, and edge finishing. • Excellent attention to detail, craftsmanship, and quality control. • Ability to lift 50 lbs, stand for extended periods, and work in various shop or outdoor conditions. • Valid driver’s license. Preferred • 3+ years of professional wrap installation experience. • Experience with large fleet graphics or commercial wraps. • Familiarity with design files, plotting equipment, and basic computer skills. Compensation: $16 - $22 hourly
