Job Summary

Stamen Animal Hospital is a full-service AAHA-accredited veterinary medical facility located in New Rochelle. We are seeking a compassionate veterinarian who is client oriented with good diagnostic, medical and surgical skills. Our facility includes an in-house laboratory, ultrasound, digital radiology, laser therapy and more. We offer a competitive compensation package. The ideal candidate has 1-2 years experience including surgical skills. New graduates are encouraged to apply. Full-time or part-time. Responsibilities

Provide routine examinations

Diagnose illnesses and recommend treatment

Perform surgeries

Administer vaccinations

Perform spay and neuter surgeries

Prescribe medication

Advise pet owners on preventative healthcare, nutrition, and overall pet well-being

Update client records

Qualifications

Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree

Previous work experience as a veterinarian

Excellent communication skills

Problem-solving skills

Patience and a love for animals
