Job Description

JOB FUNCTION:  To support the Emergency Department Care Coordination (EDCC) Program as well as other VHI products, services and programs by administering meetings, program demonstrations and facilitating the onboarding process.  Including but not limited to preparing for and moderating meetings as well as compiling a summary that includes proposed tasks, target dates and list of responsibilities and responsible person(s).  Interacts directly with health systems, health plans, providers and hospital personnel in a variety of initiatives.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:

1.       Strategize communication and outreach plans that promote increased participation in relevant VHI programs.

2.       Manage a combination of project activities including scheduling and communicating with customers and vendors, keeping up-to-date status of projects and support activities and tracking and following-up on issues.

3.       Maintain the necessary clinical and technical knowledge needed to stand up, support and market the products/services that are offered to customers.

4.       Serve as primary customer support contact for newly participating organizations in VHI programs.

5.       Control and retain accurate and timely customer and vendor relationship information.

6.       Seek out and cultivate relationships in healthcare settings to provide full-service support to organizations interested in learning more about VHI products and services.

7.       Work with web and graphics team to create and disseminate product collateral and program communications.

8.       Assist in planning and supporting VHI at conferences, seminars and external meetings.

9.       Perform other duties related to VHI programs and services as requested.
