Responsibilities

Maintain a healthy and safe environment.

Talk continuously to children using rich, positive and encouraging language.

Help children establish good habits of personal hygiene and good manners.

Assist in maintaining spaces clean and sanitized at all times.

Communicate effectively with staff.

Change diapers and assist with toilet training as needed.

Plan, organize and execute games, arts and crafts with infants and young toddlers.

Collaborate developing an Emergent and Reggio Emilia inspired curriculum.

Keep children engaged and entertained while achieving kindergarten preparedness.

Qualifications

Native in Spanish required.

Available Mondays through Friday from 12:30 am to 5:30 pm with a paid 15 minute break.

Minimum of 12 quarter units of ECE required.

We are looking for a teacher who is always busy and who can move fast if needed. You will be expected to play with the children, feed them, clean them, change diapers, observe them, help sanitizing and cleaning the facility. You will be in constant communication with the other two teachers to prioritize and fulfil all the operations' needs.

If you are a person who enjoys having free time and needs to have several breaks during work hours, this position would not be able to fulfill your needs.

Bend, reach and lift up to or above head.

May be required to lift up to 40 pounds.

Kneel or sit on floor for up to twenty minutes at a time while working with children.

Ability to work in a moderate to loud environment.

Live Scan clearance.

First Aid Pediatric CPR training preferred.

Mandated Reporter Training.

Current TB Test clearance, MMR, Tdap and influenza vaccines.

Fully vaccinated against COVID with boosters included.
