Job Description

• Primary tasks include cell culture and molecular biology responsibilities to support various virology functions
• Secondary tasks consist of general housekeeping activities including general lab cleanliness, maintaining lab stock, emptying waste bins, etc.

Qualifications

• Cell culture, virology, and/or molecular biology background

• Strong computer, scientific, and organizational skills

• Excellent communication (oral and written) and attention to detail

• Familiarity with Microsoft Office software (Excel)

• Familiarity with electronic notebook systems

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team, self-motivation, adaptability, and a positive attitude

• Ability to learn new techniques, perform multiple tasks simultaneously, keep accurate records, follow instructions, and comply with company policies

• Familiarity working with larger equipment sets and pressurized systems preferred

• Bachelor's degree in Science or other related degree concentration, or equivalent directly-related experience (two years of directly related industry experience is equivalent to one full-time year of college in related major)

Additional Information

Position is Monday- Friday 8:00 am- 5:00 pm. Overtime as needed. Candidates currently living within a commutable distance of Indianapolis, IN are encouraged to apply.
