Virtual Nurse

Opportunity to join VirtuAlly, a rapidly growing Telehealth service company. VirtuAlly provides virtual clinical services to various healthcare facilities.

The VirtuAlly Virtual Nurse uses EMR information and technology to provide nursing care, in collaboration with the on-site clinical team, from a remote location.

Primary Responsibilities:

· Nursing activities including:

o Admission documentation

o Care Plan initiation and progress

o Discharge planning and documentation, medication reconciliation

o Patient and family education

· Review EMR to identify opportunities for comprehensive clinical documentation.

· Review EMR to identify opportunities for adherence to quality measures.

· Assist patient with non-urgent requests and serve as a liaison as needed between the patient and the on-site clinical team.

Qualifications:

Minimum of 5 years of work experience as a registered nurse.

Comprehensive experience with EMRs, preferably Epic.

Strong assessment, organizational and problem solving skills.

Ability to function independently.

Proficient time management skills.

Strong communication skills to establish a relationship with patients, families and on-site clinical team.

Experience with telehealth platforms preferred.

License/Certification

Licensure as a Registered Nurse by the South Carolina Board of Nursing or a compact state.

Licensure in other states as required by contract.

Current Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiac Life Support preferred.
