This role is perfect for those who are not only tech-savvy but also excel in communication and critical thinking. The Property Management Associate is responsible for maintaining property rentals by advertising and filling vacancies, negotiating and enforcing leases, and maintaining and securing premises. We are looking for a Property Manager to be responsible for the direct management oversight of assigned commercial/residential properties. Responsibilities: • Rent Management: Engage in consistent follow-up and monthly check-ins with renters to ensure prompt rent collection and address any queries or issues • Maintenance Coordination: Efficiently manage maintenance requests using our advanced software tools. Your adeptness in technology will be key to maintaining smooth operations • Eviction Process Handling: When necessary, oversee the preparation and delivery of eviction notices, coordinating effectively with our team of runners • Communication Mastery: Employ your top-notch communication skills to interact professionally with renters, maintenance staff, and other stakeholders • Critical Thinking: Utilize your critical thinking abilities to tackle problems, make smart decisions, and handle unexpected challenges confidently. • Resolve tenant complaints to satisfaction and in accordance with our high-quality of property standards • Facilitates resident move-ins/move-outs by negotiating leases, collecting security deposits and processing applications to ensure a smooth process • Establish rates by researching the local market and calculating costs so pricing is accurate and fair • Monitor all new prospects and incorporate findings into marketing campaigns to help increase company growth • Prepares annual budget to help make sure financial objectives are met Qualifications: • MUST be proficient in using App Folio • MUST take the typing and English proficiency assessment • Experience in property management or a related field is highly preferred • Strong proficiency in technology, especially with property management software • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills • Demonstrated ability to think critically and solve problems • Capability to manage sensitive situations with discretion and professionalism • Exquisite presentation and negotiation skills • Basic understanding of MS Office Compensation: $6 - $8 hourly
