    Our fast-growing team is looking for a skilled, motivated and reliable Controller to help grow our company.

    WHAT YOU'LL DO

    • Oversee accounting and financial reporting processes, including month-end close, accounts payable, financial review and analysis, accruals, account reconciliations, and overall maintenance of the firm's accounting records
    • Responsible for maintaining and enhancing proper internal financial controls and processes. Drive process documentation including writing, reviewing, and maintaining standard operating procedures
    • Implement workflow improvements and automate processes to minimize risk, eliminate manual workflows, reduce inefficiencies, and increase bandwidth
    • Serve as a supervisory control function for many processes and internal control activities
    • Remain abreast of changes in the regulatory and GAAP frameworks that drive the regulatory reporting and financial functions
    • Responsible for preparation of GAAP financial statements and footnotes
    • Manage and drive positive outcomes with auditors, regulators, customers, and other counterparty relationships
    • Consistently strengthen the processes and outcomes of general ledger and accounting systems
    • Actively cross-train the team to provide back-up coverage for all team members
    • Oversee a timely, consistent, and accurate 5-day monthly close cycle
    • Provide in-house revenue accounting expertise
    • Oversee and support the external audit process
    • Oversee and support tax work (primarily outsourced)
    • Work with and leverage external resources as needed
    • Hire, retain, coach and grow Accounting department members

    YOUR QUALIFICATIONS

    • 10+ years of experience in relevant auditing/accounting/role
    • 5+ years of experience in SaaS accounting
    • 4+ years of Big 4 experience
    • Master's degree in Accounting or related fields
    • Experience scaling a US accounting function in the context of a growing SaaS company
    • In-depth understanding of IFRS or GAAP and SOX
    • Extremely detail-oriented
    • Must be self-driven, someone who excels at multitasking and thrives in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a positive attitude
    • Familiarity with using various software stacks including Netsuite
    • Ability to work in a data-driven environment (comfortable with large sets of data, business-oriented)
    • Comfortable with exposure and partnering/influencing throughout the organizational structure
    • A desire to win as a team and be part of a dynamic team
    • Rigorous, efficient, organized, and eager to evolve in a fast-growing environment
