Description:

Virtucom is seeking responsible hardware computer repairs technicians. You will be performing repairs on various chrome books and window devices. You will represent the company in a professional manner aiming for 100% customer satisfaction and high resolution rates. Computer repair technicians are required to be knowledgeable of various hardware related to the device they are repairing. Successful technicians are able to review notes gathered by field technicians to determine details of the equipment problems. The everyday duties include disassembling and reassembling computers using various types of hand tools in order to problem solve and repair. You must also be able to clean or adjust mechanical parts to maintain machines' operating efficiency and to prevent breakdowns or a repeat return. Technicians inspect units for cosmetic defects and report findings, replace or repair defective components, and maintain inventories and requests.

Requirements:

Qualifications:

• Strong teamwork skills as well as ability to work independently
• Document troubleshooting and resolution steps
• Document all service requests as per company guidelines
• Self motivated and driven to exceed daily output expectations
• Ask for help, follow instructions, and accept constructive criticism
• Ability to operate hand truck and pallet jack
• Lift up to 20lbs
• Understanding of computers
• Strong knowledge of MS Windows operating systems and Chrome OS
• Sense of urgency to resolve tickets
• Good communication and customer satisfaction skills

Hours:

Full Time, Monday- Friday 8am-5pm
