  • Responsibilities

    Under the direction of the Chief of Staff and Title III Administrator, Fiscal Affairs Manager is responsible for analyzing and managing the budgetary and financial spending for all departments and sub-departments within the Office of the President, EVP and Title III activity as assigned.

     

    • Actively supports and interacts with department fiscal managers and activity directors to ensure budget and Title III regulations are adhered as it pertains to utilization of funds according to objectives outlined. • Reviews expenditures for each project activity/division and assist in the preparation of operating budgets for departments and sub-departments to ensure conformance to budgetary guidelines and constraints for Title Ill and division. • Assist and/or prepare all necessary documentation needed for the grant application submission process to include the President and Title III Director grant acceptance review for Title Ill and division. • Assist Chief of Staff with budget development and management for Office of the President. • Generates quarterly and annual reports for submission to grantor. • Other duties/special projects assigned.

    Required Skills

    • Possesses strong qualitative, analytical and financial management skills • Proficiency with SCT Banner, Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access) • Excellent communication, presentation and reporting skills • Experience in grant and budget management, including accounting, reporting, analysis and compliance • Ability to work collaboratively and to cultivate strong partnerships with internal clients and colleagues • Ability to document all policies, processes and procedures related to responsibilities and keeps the documentation accurate and current. • Self-motivated, strong work ethic, and ability to work flexible hours during peak times • Sharp attention to detail with focused accuracy and demonstrated ability to think strategically • Ability to interact with a diverse group of managers, executives and subject matter experts • Ability to critically analyze large amounts of data using pivot tables and v-look ups • Ability to manage multiple budgets and projects and meet deadlines • Ability to organize and manage multiple tasks concurrently

    Required Experience

    • Bachelor’s degree required in Accounting, Business Administration or Finance • MBA or other advanced degree strongly preferred • Grant and budget management, including accounting, reporting, analysis and compliance
