With a small but world-class team of PhDs from Michigan State and Carnegie Mellon University, Visa’s Applied Authentication Lab functions an incubator for newtechnologies and solutions in payment risk management and consumer authentication for mobile, online and in-store, working in the intersection of biometrics, machine learning, cryptography and security. We offer you the opportunity to play a key role in moving payments security into the future.
You will work collaboratively within a team to design, build and train neural network models in the area of consumer authentication for payment. The work can be expected to cover a multitude of tasks from how best to collect the data to which architecture to use for the neural network.
This role represents an exciting opportunity to make key contributions to key Visa products and impact the payment experience of potentially billions of people. The successful candidate must have strong academic track record and demonstrate excellent software engineering skills. The successful candidate will be a self-starter comfortable with ambiguity, with strong attention to detail, and excellent collaboration skills.
