    We are seeking passionate, driven software developers who can help us build scalable and reliable cloud computing solutions to support the rapidly growing cloud automation software and ITOM (IT Operation management) products.

    ServiceNow Discovery is an automated process that continuously scans and identifies all the components within the IT infrastructure. We are built on top of the ServiceNow platform and provide solutions for IT automation, integration, instrumentation, and data operations with internal/external customer infrastructure. You will be a vital member of a strong scrum team working in an exciting environment with innovative technology.

    • Write clean, efficient, reliable, secure, and maintainable software solutions following best practice and coding standards.
    • Apply software engineering principles to analyze, problem solve and design solutions
    • Perform code reviews and provide constructive feedback.
    • Document functional and technical specifications to illustrate the idea and knowledge sharing
    • Troubleshoot and effectively resolve internal/customer issues by collaborating with cross-teams
    • Participate in weekend and holiday on-call rotation as required.
    • Continuously stay updated with the latest industry trends, tools, and technologies to improve the development process.
    • Patriciate in team meetings, technical discussions and knowledge sharing activities
  • Qualifications

    Qualifications

    In order to be successful in this role, we need someone who has:

    • 2+ years of experience with Java or a similar OO language
    • Strong understanding of software development principles data structures, algorithms and object-oriented design
    • Exposure to developing software and API using common web technologies (SOAP, REST, XML, etc.)
    • Familiarity with scripting languages such as JavaScript, PowerShell, Unix/Linux shell scripts, or similar
    • Working experience with cloud native technologies like microservices and containerization is plus
    • Familiarity with Kubernetes, Kafka, and cloud platform such as AWS, Azure, GCP is a plus
    • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to quickly grasp complex technical concepts and provide innovative solutions.
    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with team members
    • Self-starter, with quick learning curve
    • Bachelor’s/master's degree in computer science or related discipline.

    For positions in California (outside of the Bay Area), we offer a base pay of $109,400 - $169,600, plus equity (when applicable), variable/incentive compensation and benefits. Sales positions generally offer a competitive On Target Earnings (OTE) incentive compensation structure. Please note that the base pay shown is a guideline, and individual total compensation will vary based on factors such as qualifications, skill level, competencies and work location. We also offer health plans, including flexible spending accounts, a 401(k) Plan with company match, ESPP, matching donations, a flexible time away plan and family leave programs (subject to eligibility requirements). Compensation is based on the geographic location in which the role is located, and is subject to change based on work location. For individuals who will be working in the Bay Area, there is a pay enhancement for positions located in that geographical area; please contact your recruiter for additional information.
