    Vision Financial Markets LLC is a growing self-clearing securities broker/dealer based in Stamford, Connecticut. We are looking for an entry-level Operations Associate.

    The employee will be responsible for carrying out many different functions of the securities clearing and custody department of a US Broker Dealer. Some of the functions include:

    • Reconciliation experience in the financial industry.
    • Assist the Securities Operations Team with morning reconciliations of cash and positions.
    • Cash Balancing, Bank Reconciliations and AML monitoring for incoming wires.
    • DTC Settlement Balancing and Reconciliation
    • Enforce regulations and Vision policy.
    • DTC eligibilities and Securities Processing and reconciliation.
    • Responsible for monitoring fails to receive and deliver.
    • Responsible for daily and monthly outlier review, research, and documentation. Responsible for performing daily reconciliations for cash, security and suspense transactions as well as adhering to established quality control measures and procedures.
    • Document procedures and audit current processes to increase efficiencies in the Operations Department.
    • Analyze client transaction and account data to ensure risk mitigation for the client and Vision.
    • Troubleshooting client and operational issues.
    • Assisting in the growth and development of the business.
    • Perform other duties as directed by the Operations Manager.

    Requirements:
    Bachelor Degree
    **
    The ideal candidate will have:**

    • Series 7 license preferred or Series 99.
    • Recent college graduate with some backoffice experience
    • Be detail oriented, with excellent math skills and a logical approach to problem solving.
    • An intermediate level of proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.
    • To efficiently handle a multitude of tasks while maintaining a low error rate.
    • A professional demeanor in a casual business-like atmosphere.
