    RESPONSIBILITIES

    Duties include but are not limited to…

    • Accountability for the operating results of the entire Shaffer Distributing division
    • Galvanize the division leadership team and department teams through exceptional Leadership, Management, and Accountability skills.
    • Establish and maintain the divisional structure and strategy.
    • Ensure alignment between teams, including Sales, Ops, and Finance.
    • Build trust and foster open/honest transparency in team meetings.
    • Create coaching/mentoring opportunities for team members and their people.
    • Organize the team for optimal performance and ensure all are aligned with the company’s direction and goals.
    • Lead the rollout of divisional core processes from sales and account management through supply chain and logistics.
    • Challenge conventional methods to enhance efficiency and manage organizational changes effectively.
    • Cultivate a team environment where individuals see themselves as vital contributors.
    • Address and resolve people issues, solving problems independently while managing upwards.

    ** This is an onsite, in-person position based in Columbus, OH with occasional travel to customer locations, industry tradeshows, and company offices**

    QUALIFICATIONS

    Required:

    • 3+ years of Operations experience
    • 3+ years of B2B sales or B2B Account Management experience
    • Significant experience managing people in a small to mid-size business
    • Progressive promotion path within an organization

    Preferred:

    • Experience building out a new department or scaling a department for growth
    • Variety in career path
    • Expertise in supply chain and/or logistics
    • Previous role as a strategic decision maker in a B2B organization
    • Managerial experience in an organization using EOS (Entrepreneurial Operating System)

    Desired:

    • Success in selling or managing large customer projects
    • Technical experience in utilizing an ERP or CRM system
    • High financial aptitude, including solid understanding of a P&L

    SALARY: $175K - $200K + a discretionary, performance-based bonus structure
