    RESPONSIBILITIES

    The job responsibilities of our CFO include, but are not limited to:

    Financial Management

    • Directly responsible for financial health of the company
    • Principal advisor to the CEO
    • Manage bank accounts, reconciliations, and credit card payments
    • Contract review and negotiation
    • Mergers and Acquisitions
    • Manage insurance applications and software renewals
    • Daily financial dashboard
    • Prepare monthly financial statements / P&L / Balance sheet
    • Monthly invoicing
    • Collections
    • Set up project budgets for labor consultants and expenses for accurate fee split
    • Prepare Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) invoices for governmental clients
    • Review financial history and trends
    • Ajera Expert (or similar ERP / CRM)

    Taxes, Reporting & Compliance

    • Year-end tax coordination with outside accounting vendor
    • Complete quarterly returns
    • Manage documentation required by consulting CPA for tax filings
    • Manage IRS tax amendments (employee retention tax credits, 179D)
    • Manage all annual financial documents, taxes, year-end reconciliation
    • Federal regulation compliance
    • Utilization reports
    • Update and maintain revenue projections

    Employee Management

    • Leadership, management, and accountability for the accounting team
    • Review and approve employee expense reports
    • Manage project and employee check requests
    • Process and manage bi-monthly payroll and taxes
    • Review and edit monthly expense budget

    QUALIFICATIONS

    Required

    • Minimum 7 years’ experience in financial leadership
    • Experience with a rapidly growing company beyond $25M annually
    • Experience working with a major ERP / CRM software (Ajera, Sage, Microsoft Dynamics 365, SAP, Oracle)
    • 4-year degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or similar

    Preferred

    • Architecture, Engineering, or Construction industry experience
    • 15+ years’ experience in financial leadership
    • CPA
    • MBA

    Desired

    • Experience working with the Entrepreneurial Operating System (EOS)
