Responsibilities: Job Description : Visitor Services Coordinator: The Visitor Services Coordinator includes responsibilities related to visitor information and events for the Helena Tourism Alliance (HTA). In addition, the Visitor Services Coordinator will assist the Executive Director with projects, programs, and administrative tasks. Visitor Services Coordinator Duties : • Greet guests and answer questions in the Visitor Information Center, disseminate information to visitors about Helena attractions, events, recreation areas, accommodations, and encourage longer stays in the Helena area. • Maintain visual presence of the Visitor Information Center as well as replenish display racks with materials. • Respond to phone and online inquiries received from HelenaMT.com. • Maintain community events calendar. • Assist in monitoring and updating HelenaMT.com. • Assist in creating content for social media channels and blogs, in conjunction with Executive Director, Sales and Marketing Manager, and Social Media Manager. • Provide event; convention; and sports service support. • Represent the HTA at community, state, and regional meetings and trade shows as required and approved by the Executive Director. • Plan retail merchandise, maintain stock levels, and monitor performance. • Assist the Executive Director Sales and Marketing Manager with Administrative Duties. • Assist in special projects and assignments requested by the Executive Director and other day-to-day activities to accomplish the goals and mission of the organization. • Work as part of a creative team to build and enhance Helena’s visitor offerings. • Maintain positive communications and foster partnerships with the hospitality industry, community members, and leaders. • Assist in developing and maintaining a positive image of Visit Helena in the eyes of all visitors, partners, and stakeholders. • Familiarity with Microsoft Office, Excel, WordPress, and Newsletter • Survey Platform (i.e. Mailchimp, Survey Monkey), Instagram, and Facebook, and Retail experience a plus. Qualifications: • Must have excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills, organizational skills, and problem-solving skills. Compensation: $40,500
