Our ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of experience in business and partnership development and marketing, and be willing to work with cross functional partners from the marketing, sales, and customer success departments. The ideal candidate will get up to speed quickly and establish processes for lead generation, target marketing, and analysis. This person should be able to refine marketing campaigns from scratch, iterating strategy based on feedback, and be able to look at business data from a strategic point-of-view.     JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Build relationships with potential and existing business partners; must be willing to call potential/current partner clients and willing to conduct inbound/outbound sales/business development meetings.
    • Develop business partner development strategy and execution plan by target segment and region.
    • Manage and recommend Marketing budget allocation.
    • Develop and monitor metrics and KPI for partners.
    • Responsible for defining and delivering on agreed upon Revenue targets (however, this not a commission-based role).
    • Develop partnerships across the United States and even globally. Some travel within the US or overseas might need to be undertaken on a as-need basis.
    • Develop and support partnerships with a focus on both domestic and key international locations.
    • Manage existing accounts with partners and grow relationship.
    • Identify and lead co-marketing opportunities online and offline.
    • Plan and manage trade events and participate in trade seminars and conferences.
    • Manage day-to-day activities related to partnership development for multiple business partners across segments (corporate, affiliate, travel, hospitality industry, insurance industry, etc.)
    • Lead management and nurturing of partnerships.
    • Building new channels for marketing.
    • Work and communicate with various teams to ensure that activities support the business initiatives of multiple business entities.
    • Drive the partnership agenda internally.

    REQUIRED SKILLS:

    • Excellent verbal skills and strong written and presentation skills.
    • Ability to identify & reach out to potential partners- corporations, travel & tours industries, insurance agents/brokers & bloggers and influencers.
    • Ability to think strategically and work independently without close supervision.
    • Strong Marketing & CRM experience - lead management/nurturing, marketing operations, email campaign management, marketing collateral.
    • HubSpot, Salesforce or other CRM experience.
    • Experience with affiliate marketing and ad networks.
    • Good creative copy & content writing ability.
    • Ability to acquire new partners & manage relationships for profitable sales and growth.
    • Ability to develop negotiating strategies, mitigate risks, and define mutually agreed upon contracts.
    • Ability to close deals with partners, bloggers and influencers.
    • Creativity, innovation, and willingness to learn with a can-do attitude.
    • Exceptional communication skills and multitasking abilities.
    • Experience in digital and traditional marketing planning and strategy.
    • Experience in business development in a related insurance or travel industry (preferred).
    • Self-motivated go-getter and an effective team player.

    QUALIFICATIONS:

    • 5+ years of relevant experience
    • Bachelors degree in business and/or marketing-related field
    • 4 years of developing and managing marketing partnerships
    • CRM experience in HubSpot, Salesforce etc.
    • Experience in both B2C and B2B, highly desirable
