    Vista Del Mar provides a trauma-responsive continuum of services to empower children, youth, and families in Southern California to lead fulfilling lives.

    ROLE OVERVIEW:

    The Home-Based Early Head Start Supervisor is a member of the interdisciplinary team whose primary role is to ensure the provision of high quality, comprehensive child and family support services (including mental health services) and supervision of child and family service staff. The Supervisor works in collaboration with the EHS Program Manager, Program Director, the Home-SAFE leadership team, supervisors, and managers/specialists overseeing health, nutrition, education, child development and disabilities services in the adherence of protocols, procedures and Early Head Start Performance Standards. This position provides consistent, weekly reflective individual supervision to 7-9 Home Visitors.

    WHAT YOU BRING TO VDM:

    • Master’s in Social Work or Marriage and Family Therapy or related field
    • LCSW or LMFT
    • At least 2 years of supervisory experience, eligible to supervise Master’s-level mental health staff collecting hours toward licensure.
    • At least 2 years of experience working with infants, toddlers, and parents using infant-toddler mental health model and relationship-based practice.
    • Valid CA state driver’s license.
    • COVID Vaccination Card (fully vaccinated)
