Medical Coding Specialist Vista Medical Billing LLC - Denver, CO Full-time, Part-time Growing Dental and DME Medical Billing office seeking full-time, and part-time on-site billing professionals who are detail oriented, have high energy, able to multi task, and are ready to take the next step in their career. Responsibilities May Include: * Process claims, follow-up on denials, and status checks to ensure fast collection and maximize reimbursements * Prepare and process billing transactions, adjustments and analyze discrepancies * Posting Payment, apply adjustments and generate rebills for outstanding A/R * Scanning of EOBs, documentation of insurance and patient correspondence * Examine Appeals, coding, electronic, paper claims filing, code correction, including Clearing house review and denials with high attention to detail * Obtain benefit information and secure authorization for DME * Request documentation from clinics to support charges * Making outgoing calls to insurance companies, employers, and individuals * Communicate inaccuracies or other issues that could result in delayed reimbursements

• Address correspondence, answer phones, and provide customer support/ requests * and customer requests Requirements: * 3-years Minimum Experience Billing and Coding * Strong knowledge of Commercial insurance policies, procedures, rules and regulations, including Appeals, Reviews, Fair Hearings, HCPCs and ICD-9 coding * Clear understanding of claims revenue cycle with experience in Durable Medical Equipment (DME) * Strong understanding of medical terminology claims processing guidelines and federal insurance regulations, including Medicare and Medicaid * Knowledge of electronic billing and navigational ability through a clearinghouse and other services * Knowledge of the Fair Debt Collections Practices Act (F.D.C.P.A.) and HIPAA * College degree preferred. Industry experience substitute in lieu of a college degree Qualifications: * Ability to work within a team environment * Effective communicator both internally and externally * Excellent decision making and analytical skills for resolution-based problem solving * Strong computer efficient with experience in various software packages including, MS Office * Ability to implement and/or handle change in a beneficial and constructive manner * Competency for accurate recording of billing activities ***No Phone Calls Please.
