    The Vita Coco Company is looking for an FP&A ANALYST that will help manage the annual promotional spend budget, a critical component of Vita Coco's gross-to-net sales P&L, and report directly to the Finance Manager. This is a hybrid role based out of our NYC HQ.

    MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Complete monthly and quarterly activities, which includes creating and submitting monthly accruals, assisting with the quarterly forecast, conducting variance analysis, and preparing monthly performance presentations.
    • Assist in partnering with the Americas sales organization to understand top-line gross sales and volume trends and its impact on the budget
    • Work collaboratively with the accounting team to conduct detailed reviews of trade invoices from customers to ensure Vita Coco is billed correctly and invoices are coded properly in the general ledger
    • Prepare and load data into the TM1 planning tool
    • Serve as an expert on Vita Coco's volume and planning system, including conducting scrubs with the Sales team, training new members of the organization, and owning the product and user set up within the system

    QUALIFICATIONS:

    • 1-3 years of experience in Finance or Accounting
    • Bachelor's Degree in Finance or Related Field
    • Demonstrated ability to complete quantitative and qualitative analysis and financial models
    • Advanced Excel skills 
    • Strong attention to detail, verbal and written communication skills
    • Entrepreneurial, self-driven, and ambitious; ability to work independently and directly with senior management on special projects
    • SAP Experience, Planning & Reporting Software experience (TM1/Cognos, Hyperion, etc)
