    Job Description

    DESCRIPTION: This is an exceptional opportunity for a C# .NET Web Developer to play a pivotal role in front end/middle tier architecture and programming to support the company's web-based applications.     RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Work with other developers to develop and build systems on the .NET platform using cutting-edge techniques, tools and utilities
    • Research, test and implement new technologies, frameworks and utilities
    • Help enforce development standards and best practices
    • Work with non-developers to execute the full software development lifecycle on projects
    • Participate and provide feedback in brainstorming sessions and scoping meetings

    REQUIREMENTS:

    • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science is strongly preferred
    • 5+ years of experience developing applications on the .NET framework using C#
    • 5+ years of experience developing web applications using ASP.NET WebForms, MVC and Web API.
    • 5+ years of experience with MS-SQL, T-SQL and SQL Server in high transaction environments and writing complex queries (including stored procedures)
    • 5+ years of experience with HTML, CSS and JavaScript
    • Experience with AngularJS and Bootstrap
    • Experience with Xamarin is preferred.
    • Extensive experience with development across all application layers (data, business logic, user interface development)
    • Understanding of good development practices and code design including object oriented programming concepts and best practices
    • Excellent understanding of design patterns and OOP principles.
    • Comfortable working in an agile-based team environment with a start-up culture
    • The drive and ability to learn new technologies and adapts to new projects
    • Must be able to clearly communicate technical challenges to business units
    • Must have exceptional attention to detail
    • Excellent teamwork skills with an ability to get the work done with minimal supervision
    • Comfortable in a small company environment with a strong desire to contribute to the success of the team

    PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:

    • Healthcare domain experience, including health plan, physician organizations, hospitals, laboratories and pharmacy benefit management companies
    • Experience with HEDIS preferred
    • Experience with Healthcare EDI standards, including HL7 and FHIR, HIPAA 5010 and various healthcare code sets (ICD9, ICD10, NDC, LOINC, SNOMED, etc.) preferred.
