    ROLE:

    We are looking for a highly enthusiastic, product, and detail-oriented individual for a Marketing Business Analyst role. The Business Analyst will migrate our Marketing assets to a centralized cloud-based document management system and support technology initiatives for our global marketing teams. This role will operate out of our West Loop office (is currently remote until the office reopens) and report to the Director of IT.

    WHAT YOU ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR:

    • Serve a vital role in promoting the documentation migration to cross-functional marketing teams and ensuring seamless delivery of all marketing assets.
    • Become the subject matter expert of the document management system. Will need to assess change impacts, transition business process to the new platform and work with the departments to roll out the system.
    • Develop clear mapping strategy, workflow assessment and optimization requirements.
    • Work with system engineers on migrating documents and selected metadata from current repository to the new platform.
    • Perform functional and end-to-end system testing and facilitate UAT testing.
    • Perform analysis and investigation into root cause of problems, propose solutions.
    • Identify risks and issues, and seek approval on complex matters.
    • Demonstrate collaborative skills with business units, project teams and other function groups.
    • Exhibit patience and devote time to understand current state processes.
    • Achieve continued personal growth in the areas of technology and business knowledge.

    WHO YOU ARE:

    • Have a bachelor’s degree in IT, MIS or a related field.
    • Minimum three years’ experience as a Business Analyst.
    • Proficient in documenting project requirements.
    • Proficient with QA procedures and methods.
    • Experience with document management systems.
    • Strong technical aptitude and understanding of marketing technologies.
    • Ability to communicate both verbally and in writing across all levels of the organization.
    • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy; strong critical self-review skills.
    • Experience with SQL and reporting tools.
    • Must be able to read, write and understand English.
