Sr. Java Developer / Java Software Developer (No C2C)

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Web application/software development, design, and deployment.
• Software engineering, enhancement, configuration, and integration.
• Recommend architecture improvements and present to leadership.
• Troubleshooting, performance monitoring, patching, and testing.
• Project planning, status updates, and work breakdown/estimates.
• Collaborate with Developers, QA, Business Analysts, vendors, etc.
• Mentor junior team members, provide code reviews and feedback.

REQUIREMENTS

• 5+ years of Java/JEE/J2EE development experience
• Web APIs, JavaScript, jQuery, JSON, AJAX, XML, HTML, CSS
• Microservices and Cloud/AWS (Amazon Web Services) preferred
• Containers (EX: Docker, Kubernetes) and DevOps/CI/CD preferred
• Spring and/or Hibernate, JUnit testing, and Agile/Scrum preferred
• RDBMS/Relational Databases, SQL Server and/or Oracle preferred
• Bachelor’s or Associate’s Degree in the IT or MIS field preferred
• Financial/Banking or Insurance background a plus
