Job Title: System Security Engineer

Location: Auburn Hills, MI

Our client is looking to increase their Cybersecurity and resilience to Cyber threats and is looking for a System Security Engineer to oversee these activities as it relates to the enterprise, military and commercial products.

The Systems Security Engineer would include the design, development, implementation, training and maintenance of Program Protection Plans. The role will require review of our clients products to identify and mitigate Cyber threats. This position would be responsible for working with internal customers to achieve desired goals as well as outside partners/customers to develop functional solutions

Job Description:

• Work with cross functional teams to evaluate vehicles and enterprise for security vulnerabilities and recommended controls
• Provide hardware and software Cybersecurity support for products
• Develop, implement, and maintain Program Protection Plans for multiple projects
• Interact with various other groups within to include: Supply Chain Management, IS&S, Manufacturing, Quality, and other Engineering groups
• Interact with outside vendors, partners, and customers
• Potentially support other areas of the business as the needs arise

Principle Duties & Responsibilities:

• Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or CyberSecurity
• 5+ years of experience in Systems Security domain
• CyberSecurity – CISSP Certification, a plus
• Experience in developing countermeasures for cyber threats.
• Experience in training teams on Cybersecurity a plus
• Ability to utilize Microsoft Project and the Microsoft suite of tools to provide information and updates to upper management and the United States Government
• Experience working with the Department of Defense on Cybersecurity and Risk Management Framework a plus
