Part Time Physician **
Job Location:** Jersey City, NJ **
Job Type** : Part Time, 1099 contract. **
Pay rate:** $180/hr for onsite patient care, $140/hr for virtual lab review. **
Schedule:** Starting Jun 10, Mon-Fri 8am-5pm, every other week schedule.

Full Description

VitalCheck Wellness is seeking a Physician to provide general wellness checkups on site at a private business in multiple locations in Jersey City, NJ area. Our office arranges the patient appointments and does the administrative work, giving you the time and luxury to provide clinical one-on-one patient care. Usually no more than 20 patients per day. ** _

Responsibilities:

• Provide general wellness checkups.
• Consult with patients to understand their health concerns.
• Perform blood draws for patients.
• Advise/refer patients for follow-up care.
• Provide telemedicine services for lab review follow-ups.

Requirements:

• MD or DO degree
• Minimum 3-5 years of work experience following post graduate training.
• Current license to practice in the state of NJ.
• Board certification in specialty.
• Background in family practice and preventive care preferred.
• Background in urgent care or emergency care will be considered.
• Preventive medicine oriented.
• Patient education driven.
• Must be proficient with computers, customer service-oriented, and able to work independently.
• Must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 (including booster shot).
• Must be able to commute to Jersey City, NJ.
