    VitalCheck Wellness is looking for a Registered Nurse (RN) to work full time in a brand new outpatient clinic at a global wealth-management firm located in SAN FRANCISCO, CA.

    This is a great opportunity for someone interested in working with a NEW MODEL WELLNESS CLINIC WHERE YOU WILL HAVE THE ABILITY TO BE PART OF THE PROCESS OF BUILDING SOMETHING NEW.

    SCHEDULE: Start Date TBD

    8-9hrs/5 days a week

    JOB DESCRIPTION: __

    The RN in this clinic will work with support from a Practice Manager/Receptionist to support a physician and PA in a corporate health center while creating patient education content and workflow policies and procedures. The nurse will work in a primary care, preventive care, and urgent care capacity. This role is ideal for someone who loves to implement new ideas, provide high quality patient care, and patient education.

    KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Patient engagement is a must!
    • Evaluates patients presenting to the clinic
    • Provides formal and informal education to clinic employees and staff and supports wellness and health promotions.
    • Demonstrates increasing knowledge and skill in patient evaluation.
    • Work cohesively with related team members to develop and implement procedures and policies for a newly established clinic.
    • Effectively communicate with all employees presenting to the clinic.
    • Support physician and NP/PA with patient care
    • Initial point of contact for patients, completing assessment and vital signs
    • Specimen collections including phlebotomy
    • Wound care
    • Follow-up care coordination
    • Referral management
    • Maintenance of emergency equipment
    • Supply management ordering & receiving
    • Creation of engagement activities for patients, event planning
    • Vendor management including making first contact
    • Researching educational topics for patient education materials

    REQUIREMENTS:

    • Current CA RN license
    • Minimum of 5 years experience in Emergency Room/Urgent Care
    • BLS certification
    • Phlebotomy skills
    • Skill and ability to handle multiple priorities and deadlines.
    • Ability to work as a member of a team.
    • Must be comfortable approaching patients and educating on present services and upcoming services being provided
    • HIGHLY PROFICIENT in technology
    • HIGHLY PROFICIENT in using spreadsheets (Excel and Google Doc) and OfficeSuite
    • Highly effective interpersonal and communication skills.
    • An individual able to effectively and efficiently organize patient care promoting optimal outcomes, patient safety, and patient, physician and employee satisfaction.
    • Takes the lead in complying with regulatory standards, rules and laws
    • Must be a SELF-STARTER who is confident in making recommendations on improving processes
    • Must be able to pass a background check
    • Vaccinated against Covid-19 with a booster shot

    JOB TYPE: FULL-TIME

    SALARY: 

    RN starting at 135,000 per year
