JOB SUMMARY
This position serves as the primary customer contact by executing marketing strategy and promoting WellNecessities and VitalSleep products and services. This position provide current and comprehensive clinical knowledge of Sleep Diagnostic and Durable Medical Equipment (DME) services and effectively communicate the clinical and economic benefits of each. The Director of Sales is responsible for building and training an effective sales force in Louisiana and Texas.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Execute market based strategic business plan marketing to include:
Deliver target sales messages
Execute planned programs
Schedule and follow-up with medical educational programs
Develop and maintain sales materials and current product knowledge
Develop and train sales team
Achieve and/or exceed sales targets
Service and manage accounts to include:
Ensure product access
Resolve/triage reimbursement issues
Maintain product contracts
Provide feedback on marketing strategy, demonstrating disease state knowledge and effectiveness.
Prepare action plans and schedules to identify specific targets and to project the number of contacts to be made.
Follow up on leads and referrals resulting from field activity.
Identify sales prospects and contact these and other accounts.
Establish and maintain current client and potential client relationships.
Identify and resolve client concerns.
Effective reviews of sales activities and territory analysis.
Develop territory plans with the TX Area Manager and COO.
Prepare a variety of status reports, including activity, closings, follow-up and adherence to goals.
Stays fluent with related health care issues.
Travel required.
Education: Bachelor’s Degree and four (4) years of directly related experience, OR
Associate’s Degree and six (6) years of directly related experience, OR
High School Diploma/GED and eight (8) years of directly related
experience.
Experience: Four (4) plus years of sales and/or marketing experience within
healthcare industries;
Previous experience selling in the sleep market preferred;
Adept local knowledge in the primary care or specialty market;
Proven track record of success in highly competitive markets;
Solid business acumen including experience with:
· Medicare
· Tricare
· Managed care or pull-through
· Medical Supply Sales
· Strategic Planning
