VitalSleep is currently seeking a motivated Medical Sales Rep to join our team!
We offer a complete benefits package which includes base salary and commission.
JOB SUMMARY
Develops new prospects and interacts with existing physician and office staff in the Austin and surrounding area to increase sales of VitalSleep products and /or services. The Sales Representative relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Presents and sells company products and services to current and potential clients.
Prepares action plans and schedules to identify specific targets and to project the number of contacts to be made.
Follows up on leads and referrals resulting from field activity.
Identifies sales prospects and contacts these and other accounts as assigned
Develop and maintain sales materials and current product knowledge.
Establish and maintain current client and potential client relationships.
Manages account services through quality checks and other follow-up.
Identifies and resolves client concerns.
Prepares a variety of status reports, including activity, closings, follow-up and adherence to goals.
Communicates new product and service opportunities; special developments, information or feedback gathered through field activity to appropriate company staff.
Coordinates company staff to accomplish the work required to maintain sales.
Creates effective promotions as required.
Stays fluent with related health care issues.
Extensive travel in the Austin area required.
JOB SPECIFICATIONS
License: Valid State Driver’s License required.
Education: Four (4) year college degree preferred. Associate’s Degree or two years equivalent in the field of marketing and sales required. High School Diploma/GED required.
Experience: Two (2) plus years of Outside Sales and/or Marketing experience.
B2B, Medical Sales, or healthcare industries preferred; track record of success in highly competitive markets; Solid business acumen including experience with:
Territory Management
Selling a service and generating a high volume of referrals/orders
Building Relationships
Strategic Planning
Account Management
Skills: Ability to work with a variety of people.
Ability to work well under time constraints and in stressful conditions.
Strong organizational skills.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
